Zhang Hong, CFO of Lightelligence, demonstrated the company's second-generation optoelectronic hybrid computing board, which uses silicon photonics and laser-driven high-performance computing. Related findings have been published in Nature, with tests showing a performance advantage of nearly three orders of magnitude and lower power and heat generation than electrical computing cards. Founded in 2017, the company listed in Hong Kong in April 2026 and has been called the world's first listed silicon photonic AI chip company.
